First responder counselling
Scheduled support after difficult incidents
Operational pressure, cumulative exposure and difficult incidents can affect how you feel at work and at home. Blue Oak offers a space for adults to talk about what they are carrying and consider what support would be helpful.
You do not need to give a detailed account of an incident before you are ready. Counselling can begin with what is affecting you now, your priorities and what would help you feel more supported.

What we can explore
Sessions may address work pressure, emotional exhaustion, changes in relationships, difficulty switching off or the impact of significant events. The approach is collaborative and focused on your needs and practical next steps.
Finding the right level of support
We discuss suitability and service boundaries with you. If your needs require a different or additional service, we can talk about appropriate referral options. Blue Oak is not an emergency response service or a replacement for urgent medical care.
Appointments
Telehealth and selected Melton and Footscray clinic appointments are available. A free 15-minute suitability call can help clarify whether this is the right starting point. Check current options and prices in the booking portal.
